Free dispersed camping on Forest Service land in the Buffalo Gap national grassland (GPS 43.899600, -102.231800) just outside Badlands National Park.
We didn’t get a cliff-side site, but we did find a fairly level spot on the inside of the loop, didn’t need to many blocks to level the rig. We spent 2 nights here.
